A new family moves in next door. Recycles guessing/hearsay grammar — 〜そう (looks ~, from appearance — remember it drops the final い!), 〜らしい (apparently), 〜みたい (seems like), 〜し (reasons) — plus 〜続ける (keep doing) and 〜たがる (someone else wants to), with everyday neighborhood vocabulary for a 近所付き合い roleplay.

Grammar

〜そう（appearance）

looks / seems ~ (judging from what you see). ⚠ drop the final い of い-adjectives

い-adj: drop 〜い＋そう・な-adj: stem ＋そう
