昨日きのう、電車でんしゃを降おりた為ため、急いそいでいた。家いえに着ついてから、鞄かばんが見みつからなくなった。

Yesterday, when I got off the train, I was in a hurry. After I got home, I could no longer find my bag.

電車でんしゃの中なかに忘わすれたようだ。すぐに駅えきへ戻もどって、駅員えきいんに忘わすれ物もののことを話はなした。

It seems I left it on the train. I went straight back to the station and told the station staff about the lost item.

駅員えきいんは「どんな鞄かばんをお忘わすれになりましたか」と聞きいた。「色いろは黒くろで、中なかには財布さいふだけが入はいっています。それが特徴とくちょうです」と答こたえた。

The staff asked, "What kind of bag did you forget?" I answered, "It's black, and only a wallet is inside. That's its distinguishing feature."

駅員えきいんは「誰だれかが届とどけてくれたようです。一緒いっしょに棚たなを見みてみませんか」と言いって、わたしを案内あんないしてくれた。

訳 English

The staff said, "It seems someone turned it in. Won't you look at the shelf together?" and showed me the way.

棚たなに黒くろい鞄かばんがあった。財布さいふだけではなく、全部ぜんぶそのままだった。わたしは鞄かばんを受うけ取とって、とても安心あんしんした。

There was a black bag on the shelf. Not just the wallet — everything was as it was. I received the bag and felt very relieved.
