N4 consolidation story #233. The narrator visits an optician because their old glasses no longer fit: an eye test, choosing frames, and being told to keep wearing them to get used to the new lenses. 店員てんいんがまず視力しりょく検査けんさをしてくれた。「検査けんさが終おわったところです。前まえより度どを強つよくしましょう」と言いわれた。

First the clerk did an eyesight test for me. "The test has just finished. Let's make the prescription stronger than before," they said.

いくつか枠わくを試ためした。店員てんいんは「この眼鏡めがねは顔かおによく似合にあうだろう」と言いって、鼻はなのところを丁寧ていねいに調整ちょうせいしてあげた。

I tried several frames. The clerk said, "These glasses will suit your face well," and carefully adjusted the part around my nose for me.

新あたらしい眼鏡めがねを掛かけると、視界しかいが急きゅうに明あかるくなった。でも少すこし頭あたまが痛いたくなった。
