A short everyday story about signing up for a cooking class at a community center. Recycles six N3 grammar points at spaced intervals: 〜まま, 〜つつある, 〜ばかり, 〜ないうちに, 〜くせに, and 〜ついでに.

Before you read — make your own sentences

Describe a leftover state with 〜まま (例:窓を開けたまま出かけた).
