A short everyday story about a freelancer filing an annual tax return — gathering receipts, checking deductions, and meeting the deadline. Recycles six N3 grammar points at spaced intervals: 〜に対して, 〜どころか, 〜からには, 〜によると, 〜に比べて, and 〜おかげで.

Before you read — make your own sentences

State a resolve you have once you've committed to something using 〜からには (例:フリーランスになったからには、自分で申告する).
