After moving into a new place, the narrator decides to greet the neighbors, visits the house next door and hands over a small gift, introduces themselves with a smile, is treated kindly, and tidies up afterward. Recycles known N4 grammar with moving/neighborhood vocabulary. Patterns: 〜ことにする, 〜たり〜たり, 〜ながら, 〜てくれる, 〜と, 〜てから.
