The narrator starts work at a new company: for them everything was new, from the fact that they worked hard they earned trust, they worked without eating lunch, the moment they got home they fell asleep exhausted, the work is hard but on the other hand rewarding, and a senior helped without saying a word. 名詞＋にとって

私わたしにとって大切たいせつな人ひとだ。

For me, they are an important person.

ことから

from the fact that ~

普通形＋ことから

有名ゆうめいなことから、人ひとが集あつまる。

Because it's famous, people gather there.

まま

in an unchanged state; without ~

動詞ない形／た形＋まま

何なにも食たべないまま寝ねた。

I slept without eating anything.

たとたん

the moment ~

動詞た形＋とたん

家いえに帰かえったとたん、眠ねむくなった。

The moment I got home, I got sleepy.

一方で

on the other hand ~

普通形＋一方で

便利べんりな一方いっぽうで、高たかい。

It's convenient, but on the other hand expensive.

ずに

without doing ~

何なにも言いわずに帰かえった。

He left without saying anything.
