A short everyday story about returning books to the library. Recycles six familiar N4 grammar points at spaced intervals: 〜なさい, 〜たことがない, 〜ように言う, 〜なくなる, 〜づらい, and 〜より〜ほうが.

Before you read — make your own sentences

Give a gentle command with 〜なさい (例:期限までに本を返しなさい).
Say you have never done something with 〜たことがない (例:延滞したことがない).
Compare two options with 〜より〜ほうが (例:オンラインより窓口のほうが安心です).

Today I went to the library to return a book. My mother told me, 'Return it by the due date.'
